Erik successfully defended his PhD Thesis

Today, Erik finally defended his PhD thesis and celebrated his official farewell from the HCI Group at the University of Würzburg. After submitting his dissertation already at the beginning of August 2023 and taking up a postdoc position in the HCI Group at Universität Hamburg in April 2024, he has now officially completed his PhD in Computer Science. The topic of his PhD thesis is “Individual-, System-, and Application-Related Factors Influencing the Perception of Virtual Humans in Virtual Environments” and contains a total of five well-published works he conducted between 2020 and 2023.
